Cherry, Flowering (Prunus spp.)-Crown Gall

This brown, dry, crusty tissue on the root crown is crown gall that is beginning to slough off.

These trees were all planted at the same time but the middle one in the foreground is heavily stressed and has not grown as much due to crown gall.
