See:
Apple (Malus spp.) - Perennial Canker (Bull's-eye Rot)
Pear (Pyrus spp.) - Storage Rots
Note Cryptosporiopsis perennans (sexual: Neofabraea perennans), a fungus, was not found in any samples of woody pear tissues. However, this was the the second most prevalent species associated with bull's eye rot of pear, and had a widespread distribution in Oregon's pear production areas.
