Time Apply to yellow nutsedge that is at 3- to 5-leaf stage and to corn from spike through layby stage.
Remarks Controls nutsedge if applied when nutsedge is in 3- to 5-leaf stage. May need sequential applications with high densities of nutsedge. Apply up to two times during growing season. Always add a nonionic surfactant if not tank mixed with other herbicides. Use drop nozzles to reduce potential injury to corn, especially with sequential applications. Add 1 to 2 quarts nonionic surfactant or crop oil concentrate per 100 gal spray solution for broadcast applications. A second application may be required 6 to 10 weeks after the first.
Caution Not all varieties have been tested for sensitivity to halosulfuron. Not recommended on variety Jubilee.
