Remarks Currently, only an emergency use label in sugar beets. Weed control may not be acceptable on soils with pH > 7 and should be a pH of 5-6. Metamitron is pre-emergence and is taken up by root and shoots of target weeds. A post-emergent application will lead to erratic weed control.
